Our Team

As an Oxford graduate with extensive experience across corporate, public sector, and startup environments, I bring a unique perspective to institutional transformation and innovation. My career spans leadership roles in global financial markets, where I specialized in system transformation and venture architecture, working across Asia-Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East.

In the public sector, I served as the Head of the Polish Trade and Investment Agency delegation in Sydney, where I led initiatives to strengthen economic ties between Poland and Australia. This role built upon my experience founding and leading a successful thinktank in Brussels focused on international security and policy development.

My journey to founding the Addiction Studies Institute began in the depths of my own struggle with addiction. After years of balancing a high-pressure career while hiding my deteriorating personal life, I hit rock bottom and was forced to confront the reality of my illness.

After recovery, I redirected my expertise in system transformation and venture building toward something deeply personal: creating the treatment ecosystem I wish had existed when I needed it. Drawing from both my lived experience as someone in recovery and my professional background building complex organizations, I'm now dedicated to bridging the gap between cutting-edge global practices and Poland's unique cultural context. The Institute represents the confluence of these two worlds—rigorous science and authentic lived experience.
